SciLab Alternative to MATLAB

There are quite a few [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] between MATLAB and Scilab.As the syntax of Scilab is similar to MATLAB, Scilab includes a source code translator for assisting the conversion of code from MATLAB to Scilab. Scilab is available free of cost under an open source license. Due to the open source nature of the software, some user contributions have been integrated into the main program.However, MATLAB is payware. So for people who don't have MATLAB installed in their computers, Scilab could be used as an alternative.For downloading Scilab [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]


The application is primarily focused for numerical calculation mostly faced in Process industry & Electrical circuits
